Men's Ministry

GEMA stands for Global Evangelical Men's Association.  We are Christian men, who believe in the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. GEMA was started by Mr. Ssempebwa Mubiru Godfrey in 2003 after God spoke to him, to mentor men. After coming back from a trip to Canada, he spoke to pastor  John Baker Katende (JBK) about it, he was given a go-ahead and GEMA was formed and is in existence to date. GEMA is under the supervision of Global Evangelical Church leadership. We abide by the guidelines and norms of our church - Global Evangelical Church.

Our goals are as follows.

  •  To mentor men to be disciples of Christ Jesus so that after growth they also can teach others.

  • To be good fathers and good husbands in our homes and the community.

  • Work hard to be financially stable, and to support our families and the community.

  • To support one another in any way possible but most importantly to work together as believers.

GEMA is led by a committee called GEMA leadership with its members as follows:

  •  Chairman: Mr. Godfrey Mubiru

  • Assistant chairman: Mr. James Kigundu.

  • Secretary: Mr. Frederick kakeeto

  • Treasury: Ssalo go Samuel Kakande.

  • Assistant Treasurer: Mr. Richard Ssempagama

  • Coordinators: Mr. Edwine Ssaku and Mr. Paul Nsubuga
